The project sets an inspiring domestic theatre that combines volumes, tones and textures according to a chromatic range inspired by the sober and elegant style of the Milanese bourgeoisie of the 1950s.

An elegant domestic theatre in Milan
For the interiors of a flat located in the central Via Vincenzo Monti area in Milan, architect Davide Fabio Colaci has created an articulated and fluid space, marked by custom-madefurniture and careful design attention.
“Attico a Milano” (Penthouse in Milan) is a project that originates around the desire to connect the flat to the large terrace above it, in a refined building overlooking a courtyard. The staircase rises upwards and its generous opening allows natural light to enhance the space, organised between volumes, colours and textures. In the centre of the room, a large storageunit, a separating element between the dining and the living room, stands out in the domestic landscape; it is characterised by its sharp 45-degree cuts and the choice of a laminate in a very refined colour.
The C-1918 and Ginkgo handles were selected to highlight the flat’s interior doors and windows, respectively.
The C-1918 collection is designed by Achille Castiglioni and Gianfranco Cavaglià, while the Ginkgo range is a project by GiulioIacchetti.
The C-1918 range is made of stainless steel, Ginkgo is in brass.
