The “Casa Ora” project, built in the province of Cremona, comes from the intersection of two linear volumes which, following the directrices of the area, define the particular angular form of the house.

Attention to detail and refinement of materials
The two volumes respectively contain the sleeping area and the open-plan living area, outlining the outdoor garden area and creating a continuous view towards the pool area.
Thanks to the presence of large windows on this side, the visual boundary between inside and outside disappears and natural light floods freely into the different rooms.
The predominance of white plaster and natural stone in the external paving – as well on the interior walls, doors and windows – creates a marked contrast with the anthracite-coloured window frames and the natural wood parts selected for the interiors and part of the furniture.

The Joy handle, used here in its brushed stainless steel finish, matches the contemporary character of this bright, linear domestic space.
The home is designed by ZDA Zupelli Design Architettura of Orzinuovi (Brescia), a firm coming from the collaboration between Carlo Zupelli and his son Ezio, both architects who graduated at the Milan Polytechnic.
ZDA deals with residential architecture, interior design, product design, retail and art direction, following a design approach according to which attention to detail and research of materials are key elements.
