On Thursday, July 30th, in Nozza di Vestone, in the presence of local authorities and the press, Sércol was inaugurated: a site-specific artwork produced and promoted by Dnd.
The sculpture, whose name means “circle” in the local Brescia dialect, takes the form of a striking hammered brass dome. Created by Edoardo Ferrari, it stems from a shared vision: one that recognizes in raw materials, manual labor, and manufacturing culture the founding elements of this territory, which has always been the cradle of the brand and the production of its handles.
On its surfaces, the shadows of hands and tools from ancient forges emerge: delicate, barely perceptible traces that reveal themselves only to a careful eye. A whispered tale, reaching us from the past to live on over time.
Historically tied to metalworking and craftsmanship, Dnd has therefore chosen to support an artwork capable of conveying, through art, the cultural and productive heritage of Valle Sabbia.
