The interior design of the restaurant “La Terraza del Casino” is a hymn to colour: greens, blues and golden yellows with red highlights live in harmony in every room of the restaurant, which is located in the original 1910 Casino de Madrid building.

A restyling blending original structure with contemporary elements
In 2018, Madrid-born artist-designer Jaime Hayon refurbished the interior of the Michelin-starred restaurant, ten years after his first design work.
The idea behind the project was to keep the original structure of the place and give it a new spirit, thanks to the use of a carefully selected colour scheme and new specially designed furniture elements and accessories.
The result is a special atmosphere, which is warm and intimate and at the same time ‘rich’ and artistic. As a fascinating platform of spaces to try out new ways of interaction between design, art and cuisine.

The designer
Jaime Hayon, an artist-designer born in Madrid, opened his firm in Valencia in 2010.
He works on product design, interiors and artistic research.
